Okay, let’s begin by talking about how adorable the McLarty family is!! I mean come on…also, didn’t Momma McLarty do such a fabulous job with her outfit coordination for everyone? These kids are seriously adorable. We can’t get over the matching outfits for the girls. If you’re looking for fall styling inspiration, look no further!
Our session took place in one of Breckenridge’s best locations for fall photos (in our humble opinion). We love this location because of its versatility; there’s gorgeous aspen groves, tall grass, mountain views, and even an old mine! We were so lucky that the weather was beautiful for our session. CAN WE TALK ABOUT the colors of these trees in this spot? Goodness gracious! We don’t think we’ll ever get used to the vibrancy of the trees here in Fall! We were so lucky to be able to catch the very last bit of the vibrant Fall colors before a cold front came in and closed out the fall portrait season, just days after this.
You’ll notice these kiddos were so spunky and happily followed all of our crazy prompts (throw leaves in the air, have a skipping race back and forth, jump off the fence, etc) which always makes for more fun photos! We truly love prioritizing making this a FUN experience for all, especially for the little ones. Sometimes parents can worry that the kids are playing too much, but truth be told, those often make for the best photos, and best memories for them.
